The growing importance of the Chinese market for stainless steel flat products led ThyssenKrupp Stainless International to set up its own subsidiary in Guangzhou in the south of the country at the end of 2005. The processing facilities available at ThyssenKrupp Stainless (Guangzhou) Ltd. provide a wide range of products and services for national and international customers.
Reflecting the importance and size of the Chinese market, ThyssenKrupp Stainless International also operates two sales offices in Shanghai and Beijing, which work together to support both direct ex-mill sales from Europe and local production at Guangzhou. Since 2011 the new subsidiary ThyssenKrupp Stainless Trading Company Ltd. exists. This ensures that the ThyssenKrupp Stainless group is represented in all key regions of China.
